The aim of the Family Group Conferences is to inform participants with innovative practices and how to apply the Family Group Conference model in the field of social protection aiming to improve protection and support of vulnerable groups.
Representatives of Municipalities, Centers for Social Work, Schools and the Non-governmental sector participated in these Conferences.
The FGC is defined as an international contemporary model of support for vulnerable groups and families who face life’s crises and problems and how to achieve alternative measures to resolve problem in families. This model is also called a “model of adoption of family support and services within the family and family network” with the support of an independent coordinator and an initiator of the case.
